Lazarus house is a Christian organization that provides the homeless and the people at risk of homelessness in the school districts of Saint Charles, Geneva, Batavia, and Western King County by providing shelter, food and support. They are the only transitional housing program in the Tri-Cities and Western rural King County area. They provide meals donated by volunteers and other basic supplies like baby diapers and water to the people that walk through their doors. They provide around 60 dinners and breakfasts and 15 lunches daily. Lazarus house constantly needs volunteers and welcomes the help of anyone who is able at a shelter, office or at an event. Some fundraising events include walks and runs, community Thanksgiving, Christmas brunch and a gala benefit. One of the most important goals is to make sure that everyone feels the love of Jesus.
